Wat bly oor as daar niks is

‘I killed the sun so that i could have the moon’

Jy was ‘n skadu gewees;

van iets wat jy voorheen was,

nou is dit net as.

‘Now the moon is full and i miss the sun’

Dit is winter, wagtend vir sneeu;

die mure is kaal en skroei;

iewers in ‘n hoek wil ek bloei

en woorde aan gordyne boei.

‘Time will kill is us slowly’

Die langbeenperd het ‘n vuurpyl stert

ons kyk met ons oë,

maar niks is sigbaar in ons harte.
